For the first time, the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), East West University (EWU) organized a two-day long “CSE Career Fest 2018”. It is an event of Campus Recruitment and Industrial Attachment for the students and graduates of Computer Science and Engineering students of East West University. CSE Career Fest 2018 brings the employers, experienced professionals and the highly talented potential graduates on the same platform. Yearly, around 200 – 250 students are graduating from Department of Computer Science and Engineering at East West University. All these fresh graduates will be entering the highly competitive job field soon. So, this event will bring together employers, experienced professionals and entry-level talented individuals under one roof. It is expected that the graduates will be more relevant to the industry and it would minimize the gap between university and industry. It would also bring interaction (bridging) between academia and Industry.

A number of renowned companies from the IT and software industry, like Brain Station 23, Technohaven, Brac IT, Samsung R&D, eGeneration, Summit Communications Ltd., Linux Pathshala, Ghoorni, Augmedix BD, Battery Low Interactive Limited, Selise, and Creative IT took part in the CSE Career Fest 2018 on 20 November 2018 and 22 November 2018, respectively, with their recruitment panel and collected CVs from the CSE candidates. The career booths were distributed to all participating companies. Some of the companies conducted On Campus Interview Session for Recruitment.
