Celebration of World Pharmacists Day, 2023
With great joy and enthusiasm, the Department of Pharmacy, East West University celebrated World Pharmacists Day 2023. This year’s theme "Pharmacy strengthening health systems” aims to highlight the pivotal role of pharmacists in reinforcing and improving healthcare systems globally.
The festivity started with a vibrant rally on the campus graced by the presence of Dr. Mohammed Farashuddin, Chief Advisor, EWU, followed by a cake-cutting ceremony. A seminar was held in the afternoon in which our esteemed speaker Mr. Md. Muin Uddin Mazumder, Chief Operating Officer, Synovia Pharma PLC, shared his views on the ‘Future of Pharma and Role of Pharmacist‘. Professor Sufia Islam, Chairperson, Department of Pharmacy, along with our beloved Professors, faculty members, students, and guests from the pharma industry joined this cheerful celebration.
The day concluded on a heartwarming note, leaving us with wonderful memories and a bright, hopeful vision for the future of this noble profession.
