Nahid Hasan is a Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering with extensive experience in teaching, research, and academic service. He obtained his B.Sc. in Computer Science and Engineering from Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST) and his M.Sc. in Computer Science and Engineering from BRAC University. He served as a Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Daffodil International University from January 2021 to January 2024 and subsequently at Southeast University, Bangladesh, from January 2024 to September 2025.
His research focuses on Federated Learning, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Computer Vision, Privacy-Preserving Artificial Intelligence, and Intelligent Transportation Systems. Mr. Hasan has authored several peer-reviewed publications in internationally recognized journals and conferences, including Information Fusion (Elsevier, Q1), the Bulletin of Electrical Engineering and Informatics (BEEI), and IEEE conference proceedings. His research contributes to the development of scalable, secure, and intelligent AI systems for real-world applications. He is committed to advancing research and higher education through innovation, interdisciplinary collaboration, and excellence in teaching.
